Sin City--Las Vegas--is an ever changing metropolis full of the hottest entertainment, the best restaurants, and the coolest bars. Having lived here for over a decade, I've come to realize one can never truly experience everything there is to do here or eat at every great restaurant, especially since there are always new, fun places popping up for exploring. That being said, as a Vegas local, I do get asked quite frequently for recommendations on where to go, what to see, and what to eat! Here are a few of my favorite Las Vegas recommendations!
Restaurants: Bazaar Meat José Andrés (Las Vegas strip, steakhouse). Evel Pie (downtown LV pizza joint--tiny, a tad grungy & absolutely delicious). Flower Child (healthy lunch spot in Summerlin). Marché Bacchus (chill French spot overlooking a small man-made lake, delicious food for brunch or dinner off the strip). Milos (Greek & seafood, on the strip, expensive yet fabulous).
Bars: Golden Tiki (funky vibe, amazing tiki drinks). Mr. Coco (fancy, swanky, hidden, delectable drinks, at The Palms).
Show: Absinthe (Caesar's Palace, not recommended for children). Also check what is currently playing at The Smith Center For Performing Arts!
Nature: Red Rock Canyon. Valley Of Fire. Lake Mead.
Shopping: Las Vegas North Premium Outlets (From Burberry to Jimmy Choo to Coach and more!). Caesar's Forum Shops are also great.
Kids: Wet & Wild water park in the summertime. Tournament of Kings show at Excalibur. Container Park downtown has a great playground, plenty of little shops to explore, and yummy food spots.
Other Fun Stuff: The High Roller at the Linq (great way to see the city and the Linq is fun to walk around, plus they have zip lines).
Further Off: There are so many wonderful places to visit within a couple hours of Las Vegas! One of my favorite places is Death Valley National Park, just about 2.5 hours outside of Vegas. Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park in Utah are likewise nearby and stunning! Brian Head, Utah is a great skiing spot in the winter.
Honestly, I could go on and on! There really is so much to do here in Las Vegas and our surrounding areas!
